Before upgrading a production environment:

  • Review all releases between the currently installed version and the target version.

  • Back up applicable configurations and databases before starting the upgrade.

  • Test the upgrade in a non-production environment, including critical monitoring, analytics, automation, dashboards, and integrations.

  • Validate the upgraded environment, including data ingestion, Session Replay, alerts, reports, automated actions, permissions, integrations, and overall platform health.
