Maintenance - Upgrade Mechanism
Description
Here’s a feature that aids in swiftly validating customizations after deploying a new Germain release/version (whether on-premise or cloud). Previously, the minimum downtime to deploy a new Germain release was 2-4 hours. However, without this new Upgrade Mechanism, it used to take 1-3 weeks to validate that all customizations were functional. Thanks to this new Upgrade Mechanism, validation now only takes a few hours to a few days, depending on the volume and complexity of customizations.

Monitoring & Analytics - DQM (SAP)
Description
Monitor performance and availability of DQM (SAP Data Services, tech stack: Java / Tomcat9). Via SOAP:- For each Job:
- Delta on requests, Average Processing Time, Number of Processes, Name
- For each Process:
- Process ID, Request Delta, which Job it’s for
- For Host System:
- Memory and CPU usage (may as well do full OS monitor)
- For Each ‘al_engine’ process
- Process ID, Memory, CPU
Note
This was performed via configuration of Germain. As it is the case most of the times these days, we did not need toadd any code in Germain’s core component in order to deliver these features.Monitoring & Analytics - Modeless Toast Request
Description
This client has been monitoring Salesforce Cloud users with Germain for over a year now and recently upgraded to v2 of Germain Session Replay. They reported that Modeless Toast Popups (in addition to Modal Dialogs) were not being captured. While not a bug, it was an oversight in v2. This has now been implemented and is functioning as intended. This enhancement is applicable to any web application.Example with SalesForce.com
