🚀 1. Start the OBIEE Server Wizard

In Germain Workspace, navigate to:

Left Menu → Wizards → OBIEE Server

Start the OBIEE Server Wizard.

The Wizard guides you through deployment of monitoring for the OBIEE environment.

Configure the OBIEE environment according to the options provided by the Wizard.

Identify the appropriate:

Use consistent names for Production, Staging, Development, or other monitored environments.

Deploy the GermainUX Engine monitoring required for the OBIEE server environment.

Ensure the selected GermainUX Engine has the required connectivity to the OBIEE environment.

Where actual OBIEE user experience needs to be monitored, deploy the appropriate GermainUX browser monitoring component.

Real User Monitoring provides visibility into actual user sessions, interactions, navigation, and application experience.

🔬 5. Deploy Java / JVM Monitoring

Where JVM and Java-level visibility is required, deploy the appropriate GermainUX Java monitoring capabilities for the OBIEE environment.

This enables analysis of:

• JVM performance

• CPU

• Memory

• Garbage collection

• Threads

• Java execution

Use Java code profiling where deeper execution-level troubleshooting is required.

📋 6. Configure Log Access

Configure access to the OBIEE logs required for monitoring.

Select only logs relevant to operational monitoring and troubleshooting.

Verify that the GermainUX monitoring component can access the configured log sources.
