Overview

GermainUX ships with a rich, preconfigured data model that covers user experience, business processes, applications and technology performance. Every organization is different, so the data model is designed to be extended and customized rather than fixed. When data does not fit the out-of-the-box model, GermainUX can store it, correlate it with existing monitoring data, and make it available to KPIs, analytics, AI, dashboards, reports and automation, without waiting for a new GermainUX release.

Ways to Extend the Data Model

Creating a new custom data type requires a restart of the GermainUX services. Indexes and other database tuning options are not generated automatically for custom tables, so have your DBA add them for optimal performance.

Benefits

  • Fits your business: model your own objects, processes and attributes instead of forcing them into a generic structure.
  • One place for analysis: correlate custom and external data with user experience, workflow and technology data.
  • No release dependency: extend the model through configuration, without deploying a new version of GermainUX.
  • Full platform support: custom data works with KPIs, AI, dashboards, reports, alerts and automation.

Customized for You

The Germain Team can design and implement data model extensions for your specific use case at no additional cost, including new data sources, custom data types, custom KPIs, dashboards and automation. Contact us to discuss your requirements.
