Heatmaps and Overlays RUM Data not available?

🌡 Heatmaps & Overlays Data Is Not Available

Problem

Session Replay is available, but Heatmaps or Overlays do not contain the expected user-interaction data.

Missing data can include:

⚙️ Check the UX Monitoring Profile

Heatmap and Overlay data collection must be enabled for the applicable UX Monitoring Profile.

1. Go to:

   Germain Workspace > Settings > Analytics > UX Monitoring Profiles

2. Select the profile used by the monitored application.

3. Verify that the following options are enabled:

4. Save the profile if you make any changes.

✅ Validate

After enabling the required settings:

1. Start a new monitored session.

2. Navigate through the application.

3. Click several elements.

4. Scroll through one or more pages.

5. Move the mouse across the monitored application.

6. Confirm that the session reaches GermainUX.

7. Open the Session Replay.

8. Enable the applicable Overlay.

9. Verify that interaction data is now available.

Use a new session for validation so that you are testing data collected after the configuration change.
