This is part of the performance optimization project (optimization of Germain's alerting, reporting, data collection, correlation, aggregation, visualization and reporting) that started a month ago.  Initial BETA testing shows Germain dashboard ~456 times faster than before. This is still BETA. Our plan is to provide GA release on 2/28/18, all release details will be provided then.

WITHOUT OPTIMIZATION 

Click on "Drill-through" (of Germain dashboard) on "Siebel Svc Txns" portlet, takes 23.28 seconds

Volume for 1 day: 16 million rows

Database: mySQL

WITH OPTIMIZATION

Disclaimer (sorry 🙂 ): these benchmarks may vary from one environment to the next (one may see 1000x improvement and the other 200x, depending on the hardware, etc), yet we can guarantee that any customer will see significant performance improvement with this release! 🙂
