🔖 Obtain the GermainUX Packages and License

Before installing GermainUX Enterprise on-premise, obtain the appropriate deployment packages and license from Germain Software.

📦 Required packages depend on:

📬 Request the Installation Packages

Contact Germain Software to request the latest supported GermainUX release.

📄 When submitting your request, provide:

Organization name

Target GermainUX version, if known

Deployment environment: development, QA, staging, or production

Deployment method: standard, Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift

Server operating systems

Selected datastore

Components to be deployed

Expected installation date

Germain Software will provide the packages required for your approved architecture.

💻 Prepare the Deployment Hosts

After receiving the packages, transfer them securely to the appropriate hosts, which may include:

Host type

GermainUX Enterprise servers

GermainUX service or infrastructure servers

GermainUX Datastore servers

GermainUX Engine servers

Other hosts running licensed GermainUX components

Validate that:

Check

Each host has sufficient CPU, memory, and storage.

Required software dependencies are installed.

Required network connectivity is available.

Installation accounts have the necessary permissions.

Package checksums or signatures are verified when provided.

The packages are stored in a location accessible only to authorized administrators.

📁 Request the License

Provide Germain Software with the deployment information required to generate a license for your environment.

This may include:

License info

GermainUX Enterprise server IP addresses

GermainUX Engine server IP addresses

GermainUX-Agent or other licensed-component hosts

Environment name

Number of servers or nodes

Production or non-production designation

High-availability or cluster configuration

Provide stable addresses for licensed servers whenever possible. If IP addresses, host assignments, or cluster architecture change, contact Germain Software to determine whether an updated license is required.

🚀 Deploy the License

After receiving the license:

  1. Copy it to the location specified by the relevant installation guide.

  2. Restrict access to authorized administrators and service accounts.

  3. Confirm that GermainUX Enterprise can read the license.

  4. Start or restart the applicable GermainUX services.

  5. Verify that the environment and licensed components are recognized.

  6. Confirm the license status in GermainUX Workspace.

The license location and deployment process depend on whether GermainUX is installed through a standard package, Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.

Before beginning the installation, confirm that:
