**Salesforce Monitoring KPIs**

GermainUX provides preconfigured KPIs for monitoring Salesforce Classic, Lightning Experience, Salesforce Mobile, APIs, Apex, Flow, Event Monitoring, Omni-Channel, and related platform services.

These KPIs help teams analyze:

* User experience and application responsiveness
* User adoption and behavior
* Business-process performance
* Record and configuration changes
* Salesforce limits and resource consumption
* Instance availability

> [accordion] Show all 9
>
> * Security and real-time events
> * Apex, Flow, and database execution
> * Debug logs and Event Monitoring logs

The KPIs available in your environment depend on your Salesforce licenses, permissions, enabled event types, and GermainUX monitoring configuration. Custom KPIs and business processes can also be created.

## KPI levels

| Level | Purpose |
| - | - |
| **UX** | Measures the experience and behavior of Salesforce users, including sessions, clicks, pages, business processes, and adoption. |
| **Technology** | Measures Salesforce services, APIs, runtime activity, limits, code execution, logs, security events, and instance health. |

A KPI can be available at both levels when it supports user-experience and technical analysis.

## Real User Experience KPIs

### User session KPIs

Salesforce user sessions can be analyzed using the standard GermainUX session-monitoring KPIs. Depending on the monitoring configuration, these KPIs capture session duration, activity, errors, page usage, and replay data.

See [User Monitoring and Session Replay KPIs](https://docs.germainux.com/main/kpis-for-windows-application-monitoring-automation-session-replay.md).

### Omni-Channel KPIs

Omni-Channel monitoring provides KPIs for agent presence, capacity, assigned work, queue activity, and routing-related events.

See [Omni-Channel Monitoring Configuration](https://docs.germainux.com/main/omni-channel-monitoring-for-salesforce-cloud-confi.md).

### Click KPIs

| KPI | Level | Data model | Description |
| - | - | - | - |
| **Salesforce Outbound HTTP Request** | Technology | `OutboundHttpRequest` | Measures the duration, in seconds, of an outbound HTTP request initiated by Salesforce. |
| **Salesforce User Click** | UX | `UserClick` | Measures the cumulative duration of Salesforce requests and events occurring between two consecutive user clicks. Both synchronous and asynchronous transactions can contribute to the duration. |

The `Salesforce User Click` KPI can be used to identify slow user interactions even when one click initiates multiple Salesforce requests.

See [Salesforce User Click Analysis](https://docs.germainux.com/main/salesforce-user-click-analysis.md).

## Business Process KPIs

Business-process KPIs correlate multiple user actions into a complete Salesforce workflow.

| KPI | Level | Data model | Description |
| - | - | - | - |
| **Salesforce Case Open To Close BP** | UX | `GenericBusinessProcess` | Measures the complete lifecycle of a Case, from creation or opening through closure, based on captured user activity. |
| **Salesforce Case Open To Close BP Step** | UX | `GenericBusinessProcessStep` | Measures an individual step within the Case open-to-close process. |
| **Salesforce Opportunity BP** | UX | `GenericBusinessProcess` | Measures an Opportunity-related process beginning with login and continuing through creation of a new Opportunity. |
| **Salesforce Opportunity BP Step** | UX | `GenericBusinessProcessStep` | Measures an individual step within the Opportunity process. |

When a custom business process is configured, GermainUX automatically creates corresponding process and process-step KPIs.

## Data-change KPIs

| KPI | Level | Data model | Description |
| - | - | - | - |
| **Salesforce Record Created** | UX | `SalesforceAuditLog` | Records the creation of a Salesforce record detected through user-experience monitoring. |
| **Salesforce Record Updated** | UX | `SalesforceAuditLog` | Records an update to a Salesforce record detected through user-experience monitoring. |

For broader record-change and administrative auditing, also configure [Salesforce Audit Monitoring](https://docs.germainux.com/main/salesforce-audit-monitoring.md).
