## Overview

GermainUX monitors Salesforce event logs to provide visibility into user activity, application performance, errors, integrations, and security-related events. This data helps teams identify issues, analyze their impact, and automate alerts and diagnostics.

## Monitored Events and Metrics

GermainUX can collect and analyze:

| Category | Events and metrics |
| - | - |
| Apex | Callouts, executions, exceptions, SOAP calls, and triggers |
| APIs | API, Bulk API, Metadata API, and REST API calls |
| Lightning | Errors, interactions, page views, and performance |
| Authentication | Login, Login As, and logout activity |
| User Interface | Aura and Visualforce requests |
| CRM Analytics | Wave changes, interactions, and performance |
| Search | Salesforce search activity |
| Reports | Report exports |

## Enable Monitoring

Salesforce event log monitoring is enabled during the initial Salesforce deployment:

**1. Open Germain Workspace**

**3. Configure and complete the Salesforce monitoring deployment**

## Configure the Monitoring Frequency

By default, GermainUX retrieves Salesforce event logs once per hour.
