## GermainUX Notes

A **Note** is similar to a ticket or comment associated with a metric or monitoring insight.

Notes allow users to:

| Capability | Details |
| - | - |
| Document findings or recommended actions | Document findings or recommended actions |
| Assign follow-up work to a team member | Assign follow-up work to a team member |
| Add context to a metric or issue | Add context to a metric or issue |
| Support collaboration during an investigation | Support collaboration during an investigation |
| Track items that require further analysis or resolution | Track items that require further analysis or resolution |

A Note can be added manually to any metric from the Germain Workspace.

See the [Note Dashboard](https://docs.germainux.com/main/note-ticket-dashboards.md) for configuration and usage details.

## External Ticketing-System Integration

GermainUX can also integrate with external incident- and ticket-management systems. For example, a GermainUX alert can automatically create a ServiceNow incident, allowing teams to manage the issue through their existing support workflow.

See [ServiceNow Integration](https://docs.germainux.com/main/servicenow.md) for configuration details.
