## Overview

GermainUX can be deployed progressively—from monitoring a small number of users or applications to large enterprise environments.

Sizing depends primarily on:

* Number of monitored users
* User Scenarios (Session length, click pace, etc)
* Number of applications
* Monitoring [components](/main/components.md) and features enabled
* Volume and frequency of collected telemetry
* Code-profiling scope

> **Show all 11**
>
> * Business-process monitoring
> * Synthetic transaction frequency
> * Analytics and automation volume (AI, User Monitoring Level, etc)
> * Data-retention period
> * High-availability requirements

The goal is to collect the level of detail required for your use cases while keeping application, browser, network, storage, and infrastructure impact appropriate for your environment.

## Start Small and Expand

A typical deployment begins with:

* One application or business process
* A representative group of users
* Most common user scenarios
* The required monitoring components
* The KPIs and analytics needed for the use case
* Appropriate privacy and retention settings
* Primary AI analytics and automation

After validating data quality, monitoring overhead, and business value, monitoring can be expanded progressively.

## What Can Affect Overhead

Monitoring impact varies according to the component and configuration.

Factors include:

* Number of monitored users
* Number of monitored events
* Session Replay configuration
* Code Profiling depth
* Data-capture frequency
* Number of monitored processes
* Number of backend integrations
* Synthetic transaction volume and frequency

Detailed profiling or data capture should be enabled only where it provides useful diagnostic or business value.

## Deployment Sizing

For GermainUX Enterprise, sizing also depends on:

* Data-ingestion rate
* [Data-retention](/main/data-retention.md) requirements
* [Storage](/main/storage-requirements.md) volume
* Concurrent users
* [Dashboard](/main/dashboard-and-report.md) and [analytical](/main/analytics.md) workload
* Number of Engines and monitoring [components](/main/components.md)
* Availability and redundancy requirements
* AI [features](/main/ai-driven-insights.md)

The Germain Team can help determine an appropriate architecture and sizing based on your applications, user population, monitoring requirements, and retention needs.

## Validate Before Broad Rollout

Before expanding a production deployment, validate:

* User Experience
* Application performance
* Browser performance
* CPU and memory utilization
* Network utilization
* Data-ingestion volume

> **Show all 11**
>
> * Storage growth
> * Session Replay quality
> * Data completeness
> * Privacy controls
> * Analytics usefulness

Adjust monitoring scope and collection detail where required.

## Deployment Assistance

You do not need to determine the architecture and monitoring configuration alone.
