**GermainUX Enterprise – Cloud**

GermainUX Cloud provides a fully managed deployment of GermainUX Enterprise without requiring your organization to install or operate the central GermainUX platform.

Germain Software provisions and manages a dedicated GermainUX Enterprise environment. You deploy only the monitoring components required for your applications, users, infrastructure, and technologies.

## Overview

GermainUX Enterprise provides the central platform for:

* Monitoring configuration
* Data collection and processing
* Analytics and root-cause analysis
* AI-assisted analysis
* Dashboards and reports
* Alerts and SLA management

> **Show all 10**
>
> * Session Replay
> * Automation
> * User and access management
> * Security, privacy, and retention configuration

## When to Use GermainUX Cloud

Choose GermainUX Cloud when you want:

* Fast deployment
* Minimal central infrastructure to manage
* A dedicated GermainUX environment
* Centralized monitoring across cloud and on-premise systems
* Monitoring components deployed close to protected systems
* Germain Software to operate and maintain GermainUX Enterprise

If your organization must operate GermainUX Enterprise within infrastructure it controls, use **GermainUX Enterprise – On-Premise**.

## Architecture

GermainUX Enterprise runs in a dedicated, isolated cloud environment managed by Germain Software.

A typical deployment is:

Applications / Users / Infrastructure
GermainUX Monitoring Components
HTTPS
GermainUX Enterprise

Monitoring components can run within your network, cloud environment, application servers, browsers, workstations, or mobile applications.

## Components

| Component | Typical Deployment |
| - | - |
| **GermainUX Enterprise** | GermainUX Cloud |
| **GermainUX Engine** | Near applications, databases, infrastructure, APIs, or services |
| **GermainUX Agent** | Windows workstations or servers |
| **GermainUX Code Profiler** | Application servers or supported runtimes |
| **GermainUX JS Profiler** | Supported user browsers |
| **GermainUX RUM JS** | Monitored web applications |
| **GermainUX RUM Extension** | Supported user browsers |
| **GermainUX RUM Windows** | Windows user workstations |
| **GermainUX Mobile App** | Supported Android applications and devices |
| **GermainUX RPA Bot Recorder** | Administrator or test workstation |

## Network Requirements

Components deployed within your environment typically require:

* Outbound HTTPS connectivity
* TCP port 443
* Access to your assigned GermainUX Cloud URL
* Proxy configuration when required
* Applicable firewall or allowlist rules

Inbound access from GermainUX Cloud to your internal network is generally not required when locally deployed components initiate the connection.

Additional connectivity depends on the applications and technologies being monitored.

## Deployment Overview

Deployment steps:

**1. Define the applications, users, technologies, and use cases to monitor**

**2. Define security, privacy, authentication, and retention requirements**

**3. Select the appropriate cloud region and environment structure**

**4. Germain Software provisions GermainUX Enterprise**

**5. Configure users, roles, authentication, privacy, and retention**

**6. Validate network connectivity**

**7. Deploy the required monitoring components**

**8. Configure the first monitored application**

**9. Validate data collection, dashboards, alerts, and Session Replay**

**10. Expand monitoring to additional applications and environments**

## Management Responsibilities

| Area | Responsibility |
| - | - |
| **GermainUX Enterprise infrastructure and operation** | Germain Team |
| **GermainUX platform maintenance** | Germain Team |
| **Applications and use cases to monitor** | Your organization |
| **Corporate firewall and proxy configuration** | Your organization |
| **Monitoring authorization and privacy requirements** | Your organization |
| **Monitoring component deployment** | Your organization, with Germain Team assistance when required |
| **Monitoring configuration and validation** | Shared |

## Security and Data Privacy

Before production deployment, define:

* Applications and environments that may be monitored
* Users and workflows that may be monitored
* Data that may be collected
* Values that must be excluded, masked, or anonymized
* Whether Session Replay may be enabled
* Who may access monitoring data

> * Who may access Session Replay
> * Data-retention requirements
> * Applicable employee or user notification requirements

## Validate

Confirm that:

* GermainUX Enterprise is available.
* Authorized users can access Germain Workspace.
* Monitoring components can connect.
* Expected monitoring data is received.
* Dashboards and analysis contain expected data.
* Alerts operate correctly.
* Session Replay operates where enabled.
* Privacy rules behave as expected.
