## Overview

GermainUX uses a modular architecture to **observe, analyze, prioritize, act, and validate** across user experience, business workflows, applications, and technologies.

Only the components required for your applications and use cases need to be deployed.

Together, GermainUX components provide:

| Capability | Purpose |
| - | - |
| **Real User Monitoring & Session Replay** | Understand what customers and employees actually experience across supported web, mobile, and native Windows applications |
| **Business-Process Monitoring** | Analyze journeys and workflows to identify abandonment, delays, repeated actions, failed steps, and productivity loss |
| **Application & Code Monitoring** | Correlate user activity with frontend, backend, API, database, infrastructure, and code performance |
| **Analytics & AI** | Continuously identify patterns, friction, anomalies, impact, root causes, and opportunities for improvement |
| **Automation** | Turn detected conditions and insights into notifications, tickets, reports, API calls, scripts, RPA workflows, and approved remediation |
| **Synthetic Monitoring** | Proactively execute critical transactions and workflows even when real users are not active |
| **Dashboards & Reporting** | Provide real-time and scheduled visibility into conversion, adoption, productivity, user experience, processes, and technology |
| **Platform Monitoring** | Continuously validate the health and data flow of GermainUX itself through GermainUX Sentinel |

## Architecture

GermainUX consists of three primary layers:

| Layer | Purpose | |
| - | - | - |
| **Monitoring,** [Analytics](https://docs.germainux.com/main/analytics.md)**& Automation Components** | Collect the required user, workflow, application, code, infrastructure, and technology data and execute automated transactions | |
| **GermainUX Enterprise** | Processes, correlates, analyzes, stores, visualizes, and acts on the collected information | |
| **GermainUX Sentinel** | Continuously monitors GermainUX Enterprise and deployed components | |
| **Germain Workspace** | Provides the central interface for: <ul><li>Real-time [analytics](https://docs.germainux.com/main/analytics.md)</li><li>Real-time [automation](https://docs.germainux.com/main/automation.md)</li><li>[AI-assisted](https://docs.germainux.com/main/ai-driven-insights.md) analysis</li><li>[Dashboards](https://docs.germainux.com/main/dashboard-and-report.md) (Analytics & Operational)</li><li>Session [Replay](https://docs.germainux.com/main/user-monitoring-and-replay.md)</li><li>Data [exploration](https://docs.germainux.com/main/search-and-filters.md)</li><li>Configuration & [Administration](https://docs.germainux.com/main/management.md)</li></ul> | |
