# Template Audit Trail

> GermainUX keeps an audit trail for each template so authorized users can see who changed what and when.

## GermainUX audit trail overview

GermainUX maintains an audit trail for each template, allowing authorized users to determine:

* Who changed the template
* When the change was made
* What was changed

This history improves accountability, simplifies troubleshooting, and helps teams understand how an alert or report template has evolved.

## Template History

The **History** section lists the updates made to a template.

| Information | Description |
| - | - |
| **Date and time** | When the template was changed. |
| **User** | Who made the change. |
| **Change summary** | A summary of the update. |

## Change Details

Select a history entry to review the specific changes made in that version. The detailed view helps identify which content or configuration values were added, removed, or modified.
